Dave's Computer Help
JavaScript
A language used to add fancy features (that are not part of the HTML language)
to a web page. Recently JavaScript has become part of HTML making it more
dynamic. So when JavaScript is included, we call the code DHTML.
Move your mouse over the dots at the top of the page. The JavaScript
code changes the background color of the page. These
fancy features can, for example, be a web page generated on-the-fly (such
as a help dialog box or pop-up advertisement) or a scrolling message at the
bottom of the browser window (called the status bar), or even buttons that
change color, like the ones on my main Web Design information page.
The help dialog box example can be found under 10% off coupon elsewhere
in this site.
