Philco 46-420
The Philco 46-420 Table Radio

Below are two pictures of the chassis.  Parts are identified by a number.

Top View of Chassis
Capacitor (Part Number 16 on the left in a circle) is the only part on top that needs replacing for the restoration.

Bottom view of chassis

Capacitors, numbered 7 through 15 are the ones to be replaced.  Capacitor, part 7, is actually 2 filter capacitors.  That makes 10 capacitors to be replaced, underneath the chassis.

There are 11 capacitors. -----------------------------------

The cost for a restoration on the Philco 46-420 would be:
11 * $10.00= $110.00 * + Tax * + Shipping *

* This is a flat rate price that includes the replacement of all paper and filter capacitors. It also in cludes the line cord, resistors, and light bulb, if any or all are necessary. If the dial cord is broken and needs restringing, that is also included.

Other parts that were not mentioned above, such as tubes, coils, knobs or cabinet parts, are not included in the price.

* If you live in NY State I have to charge you sales tax.

* Whatever you paid to ship the set to me, I need to ship it back to you.

As I stated on the radios page: 99% of the time, all it needs are the paper and filter capacitors to bring it back to life.

This 6 tube radio DOES qualify for my All American 6 Tube Radio Restoration Special.
